Ways to Give

Online: Use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express for fast, secure and easy giving. Make a one-time gift, or set up a monthly, quarterly, or yearly gift to Educational First Steps using the Donate Now Form.

Phone: To make a credit card gift over the phone, please call the Educational First Steps Dallas Headquarters at 214-824-7940 or the EFS Tarrant County office at 817-535-0044.

Check: Gifts payable by check to Educational First Steps can be mailed to either the Dallas Headquarters at 2815 Gaston Avenue in Dallas, Texas 75226 or the Tarrant County Office at 4900 SE Loop 820, Suite 204 in Fort Worth, Texas 76140.

Wire Transfers: The fastest, most secure way to send cash.

Matching Gifts: Do you know if your company will match your gift to double its impact?  Matching gifts help increase not only the impact of a donation, but also corporate investment in Educational First Steps.

Securities: Utilizing securities allows donors to support Educational First Steps and avoid the capital gains tax.

In-kind: Gifts other than cash are often considered in-kind donations.  If you are interested in making an in-kind donation to either our Dallas or Fort Worth offices, please see our Donate Supplies Page and access our Online In-Kind Donation Form to ensure that you receive a tax receipt for your generous contribution in a timely manner.

Planned Giving: There are several types of planned gifts that donors can select employ to make a future gift to Educational First Steps.  Examples include:

  • Bequests: Leave a legacy by remembering Educational First Steps in your will.
  • Retirement Plan Designation: Earn estate and income tax benefits through your gift.
  • Gift Annuity: Receive income from an annuity gift to Educational First Steps.
  • Trusts: Earn income and tax benefits for you and your family while you give.
