Educational First Steps’ Board of Directors and leadership team have been closely monitoring COVID-19, and we want to do our part in slowing the spread of the virus.
It is with deep regret we write to inform you of the cancellation of the One Childhood One Chance fundraiser scheduled for April 21st in Fort Worth featuring Wendy Mogel. This difficult decision was made out of concern for the health and well-being of our attendees, community, and staff. We are focused on working with our EFS centers to navigate this unprecedented situation.
However, an Evening with Wendy Mogel represented our major fundraising event planned in support of Educational First Steps’ efforts to grow high-quality early education and positively impact all of Tarrant County’s children. Our partner centers, the teachers we touch, and the children EFS impacts, still need your support. As you think about your own family needs, we ask you to also consider the 6,400 children who will be adversely impacted by the potential closures of childcare centers.
We welcome your continued support and respectfully request that you consider supporting our ongoing mission by making an online charitable donation here.
We appreciate your partnership in providing a high-quality early childhood experience for over 100+ child development centers and 60+ home based providers.
