Striving for Greatness with Allyson Felix Gala

Dallas, TX – Educational First Steps (EFS) hosted the Striving for Greatness gala at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas on Tuesday, February 20th. The evening featured a seated dinner and conversation with the most decorated U.S. Olympian, Allyson Felix. In addition to raising funds to further their work in early childhood education, this event was a celebration of all that has been accomplished over the years. As EFS President & CEO, Vickie Allen-Brown, shared when honoring this year’s Early Childhood Champion award recipients, Jennifer Mosle and Berry Corporation, “Our community’s unwavering commitment to the Educational First Steps mission has made a significant difference in the lives of over 100,000 children since 1997. 100,000 children!”

Educational First Steps is thrilled to announce that they surpassed their fundraising goal for this event. These funds will help them continue to create and support high-quality early learning environments that ignite the minds of children from birth to age five throughout North Texas.
