Annual Early Childhood Conference – Previous Keynote Speakers

At the 2020 conference, Educational First Steps welcomed Ebony Smith, founder of Yoga N Da Hood, as the morning guest speaker. Smith is a Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapist, Neuro Language Practitioner, and Wellness Coach that has been featured on Fox, Telemundo, CBS, The Dallas Morning News, and countless other print and online platforms. In her presentation, Smith instructed attendees on how to implement mindfulness, self-healing, and self-love in their personal lives as well as our youth.

Educational First Steps was also thrilled to welcome back Caylin L. Moore as the Keynote Speaker. Moore’s first book, A Dream Too Big: The Story of An Improbable Journey from Compton to Oxford, was published in June of 2019 and has been featured by Good Morning America, ABC News, CBN, and TBN among others. In a moving speech, Caylin shared moments from his journey and the powerful, positive impact that educators can make in a child’s life.
